Matthew 25 is a clinic that offers free medical, dental, vision, and hearing services to patients who are homeless, low income, uninsured or who are not eligible to receive Medicare or Medicaid. This clinic only provides services to people residing in Allen County. The majority of patients receiving help at Matthew 25 are between the ages of 40 to 60. The clinic does not receive any funds from the government it is managed entirely by gifts from individuals, churches, organizations, corporations as well as grants from different foundations. Along with providing medical, dental, vision, and hearing service, Matthew 25 also has a medication room which dispenses medications to patients who come to the clinic. The clinic purchases some of the medications and some are provided by pharmaceutical companies.
I look forward to working with this organization and I am excited to see what changes I can help bring at Matthew 25 to help better serve the population.
